LDS to LDS ???

 WHATS UP EVERYONE!!?

I'm emailing you from PROVO !!! IM SO HAPPY TO BE HEREEE! 

So I don't even know where to start because there has been so much going on. 

But basically my parents dropped me off at the provo mtc yesterday & that was one of the hardest things I've ever had to endure haha. Saying bye to my mom & dad & all my siblings yesterday was super sad. But!!! I am so grateful for their support & I'm gathering Israel right now. It'll all be worth it in the end. 

Soo I bet yall are all curious as to why my subject title is LSD to LDS haha. I thought it was SO FUNNY bc we met a convert named Ed from New York yesterday at our devotional (that was almost 4 hours long haha but I loved it!!) But he just drew us in with his story. He grew up Irish Catholic. He was addicted to drugs and alcohol at a very young age (he said he ate LSD like candy) and one morning when he was high & hung over the missionaries knocked on his door after fasting for TWO days to find someone to teach & Ed was the first door they knocked on!! Basically long story short Ed was overcome by the spirit & repented to get baptized 3 WEEKS later!! He went on a mission at 23 & became a bishop at 31!! He loves rock n roll (SAME & he was impressed when I told him my favorite band was Def Lepord hahaha)  and he rides a big chromed out Harley bike. 

I wanted to tell you all this story because I know that God meets us where we are. John 17:24 says "...be with me where I am..." He will come to us, I know it and I have experienced it in my own life. He doesn't expect us to have a certain personality, hobbies, look, smell, or anything. He wants us as we are. I hope you can all feel that and if you're struggling I know one prayer will have God right by our side. 

So one funny thing I wanted to say was from our MTC president last night, he is so smart but sk funny too. He had said "elders. Just because a sister smiles at you, looks you in the eyes, and puts her hand out... DOES NOT mean she will be your eternal companion" hahaha. My companion and I literally died. President porter and his wife are so sweet. They share the best things. President porter is super stern & I love it bc we all need the structure for sure. He is the best. I talked to him for a little bit during our break and he is so kind & listens so well!! 

Okay anywayssss I could go on and on but the rest is hard to type and yall would be reading a novel haha.  But I love each of you more than you know. I know that that this is the true work of God and I'm so grateful be apart of it.
